Crew Review of Stonycreek Farm "Family Fun on the Farm"

August 17, 2011 By Dan Leave a Comment

Our friends Shelli and Lydia filled us in on their trips to Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville!  This farm’s been around for a long time and we love their focus on family and kids.  They have events year round and in the warmer months, you can visit the “Family Fun on the Farm”!
The farm and landscape nursery is open daily, but the kid-focused events are during the warmer months on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 10A-5P.  Keep your kiddos busy with the farm animals, a jumping pillow, pedal cars, hayrides, and more!  Explore their website for many fall and holiday events, too!
Another big time of year on the farm is the fall with pumpkins and hayrides.  The Zipline (as seen in our video below) is available to ride at the Pumpkin Festival, too!

Per the Stonycreek website, there are certain restrictions to ride the Zipline.
Zippers, after harnessing and training, ascend a 50-feet suspension bridge to a 30-feet high tower in the Christmas Tree Field, then zip 400 feet across a field and pond ending at a second tower. From there, zippers descend a 30-feet tubular slide to ground level. Participants must be at least 90lbs and 10 years of age.
The price of the Zip Line is $15.00 per rider.
Our crew is not quite old enough to be Zippers yet, but we’ll keep an eye on it for when we hit that age!  Until then, we’ll find plenty more to stay entertained on this farm!!

Throw Back Thursday! My in-laws celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently so I thought we would see what homes built 50 years ago, in 1969, are listed for today. See the classic late 60s early 70s architecture coming through strong!!! Showing homes in the winter can be challenging with the daylight ending before 6. However, this patio from last night looks good in any light, maybe just add a fire in the fireplace! Just got done showing this Incredibly private backyard...quite the view! -5 Events for Fun this Month in Indy- 1.
